Goody! Promises of deception and disguise - you know how to keep your readers hooked, don't you?

I like your Norrington very much.

Norrie is always fun to write.

So happy to have hooked you!

Echoes Eledhwen about your Norrington, he's lovely :-) I'm really curious about the incident where he was wounded,
though, with all the tantalising hints you give us.... And Charles grown up to be a Midshipman! I'm very excited to
see where you're taking this, now that they are going after the chalice and Jack's assuming a false identity - again.

So happy you like Norrie, and the thickening plot. The wounded thing is whole other story, which I may write eventually.

Occurs to me that I should perhaps strike that 'again' though... because the identity he assumed the last time wasn't
entirely false, if I remember correctly. I hope to see the wounded thing some day :-)

Enjoyed Norrington's musings on how most of the common descriptors for "pirate" do not fit Jack Sparrow. I *do* like your Norrington, and am glad he and Jack are friends. You create such a rich history for the two of them with your hints of adventures not yet recorded.

Jack would be pleased that his torturous efforts to preserve James' life and limb had met with such success. Interesting. A side line to explore in this story? Or later? Oh, it'll be later, I see by the comments. Allow me to join the chorus of those encouraging you to write that one. :)

I figure Jack & Norrington would have quite a bit of interesting history together, after six years of war with the Spanish. Lots of fodder for stories there, I think. I will probably elaborate further, but maybe I'll do a whole separate story on the referenced incident, eventually. Right now I must work on my plot outline for this one, and then I have a four chapter Secret Santa one I outlined yesterday! Lots of writing! I need to get busy.

Hi. I've never posted on LiveJournal before. I was just wondering if you're going to be posting the next chapter of Harry and the Pirate soon. I enjoyed "The Christmas Guest." You just write these characters really, really well, and have the time period down perfectly. I read on your homepage that Alphonse is from P.G. Wodehouse? Which book? And who is Georgette Heyer? Well, I'm greatly looking forward to the next chapter of Harry, and any other one-shots that you write!

Well, Hi there!

Yes, now that my Secret Santa fics are out of the way I'll be getting back to writing Harry IV.

It's Anatole who is the talented French chef in the Jeeves stories--he works to one of Bertie Wooster's aunts. Georgette Heyer wrote historical romances--I believe she originated the Regency Romance. Many have tried to emulate her, but few come anywhere near her brilliance.

Glad you enjoy the other stories I write, too. I'll be writing more Harry IV soon, though. Thanks again for being such a faithful reader and reviewer!

Loved Norrington's analysis of Jack's principles. Such a great combination of "watch your back" in both senses of the phrase.

you’ll need to become accustomed, Imp: the price of bein’ a Sparrow, savvy Snork!

that thought kept me hand steady
Great Jack and James banter.

Do I sense that Jack would be better off to go with his first instinct. Well, we shall see. On to five.

Great Jack and James banter.

I love writing them together -- their snarking is canon, right from the word go. I'm so relieved Jack Davenport will be in PotC 2 & 3!! It will be huge fun to see them together again.
