So happy you liked it! This is only the 3rd chapter of 11, though, for Swann's Revenge, and then there is a story after that, Norrington's Choice that is fifteen chapters. I started posting these on ff.net back last January, but I wanted to reedit them and post them here as there are readers here who don't bother with ff.net. And the formatting and editing capability is so much nicer here, too.
Anyway, if you continue reading I hope you will enjoy the rest. ;)
Norrington, however, said, “Goodbye, Sir John. Oh! And by the way.”
Sir John’s dark brows rose in enquiry.
“Give my regards to Mr. Gibbs, will you?” the Commodore drawled, and gave a slight smile of satisfaction at the expression on Jack’s face before he turned and, favoring the rest of the company with a pointed look, walked back into the house.
Yes, that is *definitely* Norrington. Lovely.
I've been enjoying the whole series - it's interesting to see a characterisation of Jack Sparrow as someone interested in women rather than men. (Don't get me wrong, slash is all very well and good, but sometimes well written het can be very refreshing). Lady Harry is a very good match for him - he needs someone just as strong-willed and bloody-minded as he is. Well done!

That's what I think, though it's not that easy to find around LJ, is it? I have acquired a taste for slash over the last ten months (which is when I found out such a thing existed--LOL!), at least in this fandom, where it seems not unfeasible. But, silly me, I still prefer het, and I think there is an audience for it, if it's well done, as you said. I'm so very glad you have been enjoying my Harry & the Pirate stories! Thanks for letting me know!
Oh, lord, this entire series is so delightful! The dialogue absolutely shines! And your characterization of Weatherby Swann is so entertaining. My sister needs a man with a strong whip hand, not a puppy taken up with the size of his hat and the set of his coat. And Norrington bidding Jack farewell wrapped up the ending so well. Look forward to more!
Thank you so much for the lovely comments--so nice to wake up to! Swann vs. Harry is lots of fun to write, and I am very, very happy you are enjoying that and all the rest. More soon. ;)
Quite late addition to the comments, but I felt I couldn't keep silent about this one. I absolutely loved the library scene, I was instantly reminded of Gone with the Wind and the fateful meeting in the library in that book/movie. Thank you so much! Enjoying this all imensly.

I never thought about the GWTW connection--although Harry is much more eager than Scarlet ever was. ;)
Glad you are enjoying the story! Thanks for letting me know--it's most appreciated, any time.
