You absolutely write some of the best romance! I can really feel Jack's love, anticipation and devotion in this. Favorite line: Show her. For a moment he couldn’t remember what. A dawn so beautiful it brought tears to your eyes? The wonders of the world? The magic and mystery that was the sea?

Thank you so much! That was a fun one that I started last February, something nice and schmoopy for a Valentine's Day challenge, although I ended up finishing it for a "lessons" challenge, instead, later in the year. I'm so very happy you enjoyed it.

I know I've already complimented you on your Jack-writing abilities, which I knew only from the few drabbles of yours I'd found scattered about different communities. Wow, you've read all the Harry & the Pirate stories now??? That's a lot of reading -- I'm working on the 64th chapter (which doesn't include these "deleted scenes", or that three chapter one I did as backstory for H&tP4. You are a fast reader! I'm so happy to hear you've been enjoying the stories. They are great fun to write, and I like to think they've improved some, as I went along--H&tP1 was the first story of any sort I ever finished.

These "deleted scenes" were actually written after the main story was done. They're just little additional scenes, that help to expand on their relationship. I just called them "deleted scenes", as a sort of reference to the ones from the movie, you know.

Actually, I meant that I'd finished the first story (I'm a fast reader, but not that fast). However, if it helps any, at the time you sent this comment I was just beginning on "Swann's Revenge". Though, being that it's nearly one in the morning I might have to come back to it tomorrow. ;} So thats... what? 27.5 chapters down, 33.5 to go? Can't wait. =P

This was wonderful!! I love the Harry stories and really missed them since the last were finished. I'm glad you didn't make it smutty because that was one of the things about this series I enjoyed, you allowed the reader's imagination to take it. Well done!

I have written Harry/Jack smut, but it is only posted to my hard drive. When I first started writing these stories, I decided I wanted to produce something that I could show my relatives and RL friends without feeling uncomfortable about it. As a result, many of them have read and enjoyed all the Harry and the Pirate stories, which makes me very happy!I figure there are plenty of writers producing graphic smut anyway, and some of them do a far better job of it than I could. And then, it's sort of a challenge to write something that's sexy and still PG-13.

I'm so happy you liked this. There will probably be more short H&theP stories, eventually, so stay tuned! *G*

I actually read and write a lot of smut. I think all I write is smut (I'll have to check), but for some reason this series spoke to me, probably because the characters were so well written, without the graphic sex. I can't wait for more Harry and Jack!
