looks like we're moving next week sometime.... its to Monbulk, which is up in the hills, but thats cool, its nice and quiet up there. Moving in with Jeremy again, but without Dani this time... (because she's moving out of there). So just the 3 of us guys... gonna be great :D So no more living at home, no more borrowing mum's car

Is your singer male or female? Would be interesting to see a male attempt Alanis!!! Assuming you have a female singer I'd say have a go at Paranoid by Garbage, & Saturation is a beauty live I used to do it in my band & it sounded fucking gold.

freefalls an awesome song... I love how it kinda swaps timing between 4/4 and 3/4 at the start. Penny (vox + guitar) wouldn't agree to any of the "non single" MA songs... She does most of the singing, but for this cover thing I think we're gonna swap around a bit. I'm singing Hey Driver... The other two reckon I can get pretty close to nailing it... got another couple of ideas today... Come Down by Bush, ummm... and a foo fighters song and a sfk song (haven't decided which ones though :P)
I was thinking maybe ECML... cos I now know how to work that acoustic... Garbage is a good idea. We like the idea of getting songs that you wouldn't usually think of as an acoustic song and turning it acoustic... thats kinda why we like the Karnivool one so much. But yeah, we'll be throwing a few easy acoustic ones in too. If nothing else its fun and a good break from getting stuck on our originals.

Yes!! I LOVE the change in timing.. subtleties like that can MAKE a song, especially that song.
