”Empty, pathetic life” Affiliation: Trainer
Personality:
Sync was often described as a cold-hearted and sadistic God General. While there was doubt that this is true, Sync holds more dimensions. Born as a replica of Fon Master Ion, Sync realized that his life was meaningless if he couldn’t be a good replacement of his original. However, it was established that he was a ‘failed replacement’ and was to be exterminated along with the other non-sufficient Ion replicas. He miraculously survived - by climbing out of the volcano no less - only filled with anger towards the world.
Many of his actions during the game were fueled by that anger. While helping Van, he ultimately wanted to destroy the Score that brought him into existence. He was offered help by the heroes numerous times, but he rejected them, believing their words to be not only naive but false. He also felt no debt to Van who saved his life twice since he deemed his life to be worthless.
Essentially, Sync only lived his life to seek vengeance on Score that created him. But in a world where Socre does not exist, it would be interesting to see how he'll reason his purpose for living. He wouldn't be too sure what it is at first, but perhaps this world can help him find it.
During battles, he was ruthless. He certainly didn’t hold back any punches or tactics as he used his likeliness to Ion to faze the party.
On a lighter note, he is sarcastic and taunting when he’s not boiling with rage at everyone and everything. Pessimistic view over optimistic one and overall, not a very pleasant fifteen-year.
Strengths/Weaknesses:
Sync’s strength is definitely his strong martial art moves, or at least the experience he gained by learning them. Although he wouldn’t be the God General eighty percent of the population feared, he probably wouldn’t break a sweaty after jogging. Plus he still has that strategic (if somewhat cruel) side to him so he'll be good at planning.
He also wouldn’t be too shabby at camping and other outdoor activities that trainers often go through in their journeys because he often worked outside of Daath as a soldier.
And as for weaknesses, he won’t be too keen on compassion or love, because he didn’t receive much (if at all) when he was back in his world. Also that means he shows little to none himself. ...Perhaps he learns to show some in this world.
Pokemon
Starter: Scyther, I doubt that he’ll name his. And to his dismay, its nature is gentle.
Password: Chicken nuggets. Mm, chicken.

Whoever’s listening, answer me this.
*With an irritated look, Sync glances over to his new Pokemon, a Scyther. It looks at him with a glare of its own, although it might as well be its neutral expression. For a thing that has blades as arms, it doesn’t know how to use Cut. … That’s pretty pathetic. *
I heard that the Violet City Gym Leader has the ‘HM’ or whatever it is for Cut. I just wanted to confirm if it was true or not.
*He really didn’t want to retrace his steps in this journey anyway. And meanwhile his Scyther began flattening the wrinkles in his shirt by pressing with the blades’ flat side.*
Would you stop that!? *He swats the gesture away before the feed cuts off*

Forests. Forests were just a joy to wonder around.
At moments like this, he wondered why he was doing this. The journey was just a waste of time. Sure, time was all you had when you were stuck in a world you didn’t a thing about, with odd things called Pokemon following you like a lost rappigs. Plus the likely chance that his world was destroyed without the Seventh Fonons or Loreli to support it.
He was hoping for that anyway.
And frankly, he really didn't need to be on this trip to who-knows-where because he didn't need or want to go back to his home world. However, being stuck in that small New Bark Town was damn boring and in its own unique way, a horrifying end. He couldn't stand it.
Sync stomped towards where he thought he saw a glimmer of light and found himself in an open field, a type of field that wild Pokemon liked to jump out of and attack you randomly. He scoffed and called out his Scyther. Even if it was a useless thing, it was all he had until he caught something more powerful. He couldn't be caught off-guard in a place like this, if at all. It wasn't his policy.
His Scyther greeted him with a gruff nod. Sync being Sync, he didn't acknowledge the gesture and started walking ahead, his Pokemon following him silently. It was already used to his demeanor.
"Hey, you got a Pokemon!"
'What now?' He turned to see a boy wearing a cap, eagerly holding a Pokeball. Oh, he knew where this was heading.
"I, Joey, challenge you to a battle! My Rattata is one of the top percentage of Rattatas, got what I am saying?"
"I don't. And I don't care," he smirked, "But I'll accept your challenge. Don't go home crying."
This kid had no idea what he was facing up against.
