I've been allowing some of my otome game doujinshi to be scanlated. None of it is released yet, but it will be something to look forward to. Yes, even the R18 ones. So people who have been craving things from the more naughty side of the fandom will get some love too. I'm still not sure how I feel about this on the moral level. oOoOo, thanks for the heads up! Yey for translations! ^^ I have to admit, I can't read a lick of Japanese. But after having played the games (with the use of a translator) plus reading reviews, I can pretty much tell what's going on via poses and knowing the storyline.

Still, it's nice to be able to find out if I have been reading into things correctly this entire time, heh.

Considering it looks like Mad Hatter Scans won't do licensed manga/doujinshi, I don't think there's a moral dilemma. And it's good to see someone taking the time to consider such things ^^

Yeah, having the poses for context is a life saver. Even though I am learning as I go, pictures have saved me so many times, it's not funny XD.

That's one of the things I love about MHS. They have some solid morals. They want people to support the creators when the chance arrives. I feel like as long as the group is like this, we can be a positive influence toward bringing otome games overseas.

The only reason I worry about the doujinshi is because I know it won't get licensed and that the Circles providing them hardly make any money off of them to begin with. They make these doujins out of their love for a fandom. I don't want to spit on that. It would make me feel better if I had enough knowledge to be able to contact the Circles to ask for their permission first.

Also, I don't know if you ever took an interest in Black Wolves Saga, but eventually MHS will release a couple doujin scanlations for that series as well. There may also be some other otome game series doujinshi in the future. We've gotten into a doujinshi craze lol.

It's my goal to make this fandom grow so big that QuinRose will have to release their games over here too. We will survive and conquer! XD

To tell the truth, I don't care for the Black Wolves Saga art either. Actually, I don't mind the coloring style, it's the lines that bug me. I got hooked because of the story and the characters.

I might try to see if I can get anybody interested in working on some Okashi na Shima no Peter Pan doujin and anthologies. Last time I checked, the main translator wasn't interested, but there are other translators now that might take me up on it. If I get too desperate it may become a personal project.

Don't worry, you don't sound preachy. I like to hear the opinions of others. Sometimes they think of things in ways I never would have on my own.

Thanks for the compliment on my new banner. I try not to appear too biased, but...I AM. Why hide it at this point? lol
