Yesterday I tried instant messaging for the first time in my life. John convinced me that I should, especially since there were ladies there asking him about me. John, do you ever get tired of women asking things like "Ooh, what's it like to work with Harrison Ford? What is Orlando Bloom really like? Can you give me Viggo's phone number?" Silly question, of course you do. You're a great supporting actor, John.
John tried to explain the way AIM works as best he could, but he's a newbie at it too. We talked back and forth and he helped me with settings and preferences, and then I was invited into the chat room he was in. There were maybe a dozen people there, actors and musicians mostly, people I'd heard of but didn't know personally. The pace was too fast to keep up with in parts, but I did my best. Miss Hannah Wood sat herself on my lap, so what else could I do but put my arms around her? Everyone, men and women, were kind and friendly, tho I felt very shy. Yes, I do think I will be going back soon. I hope to meet more of you there.
