Yay productivity!

Cause, even if long-fic is not being very friendly to me right now, drabbles are still faithful, so I deliver yet another one so that I don't go rusty. I'm also halfway through a Sam/Elena longer-than-a-drabble piece and I've got half a page of Hermione/Casey, but, considering the insane amounts of crack that that last one entails, that's a pretty good start. I've yet to introduce Casey into the whole mix and I'm deathly afraid of doing it, lest I be hanged and crucified by the conservative SVU-ers. But I digress. My point is: I got fic. Yay.

Title: None as of yet
Fandom: Conviction
Pairing: Alex/Christina... kind of.
Rating: G
Word count: 104 :O
Disclaimer: Conviction and the characters that make up this show are not mine. I'm just borrowing harmlessly.
Summary: Christina gets something she wasn't expecting. Can't be more specific or I'll give the entire thing away.
Note: Written for the challenge at conviction100, May flowers.

The slight and suggestive smell of freshly watered petals lures Christina into her office as if pulling her with an invisible thread. Sitting on her desk is a small, colorful bouquet that she knows wasn’t there when she closed up on Friday. Her confusion dissipates, though, moments later when she finds the note:

“I told Jim not to underestimate you. Thank you for proving me right”

The smile is still on her face as she hands Jim the requested paperwork, and it only widens when she accidentally brushes a little bit too close to Alex and notices that, ever so slightly, she’s smiling back.
