Reflectation...

Jan 18, 2009 22:12

I start back to work tomorrow after the most relaxing break I've had in a while. So, I've decided to reflect on my previous year and see just what I did, learned and what made me happy within those hectic 12 months.

- I learnt how to knit.
- I learnt how to drive*.
- Bought a car.
- Hurt the car.
- Discovered that ABBA aren't the anti-christ.
- Discovered I can get hungover on non-alcoholic wine.
- Learnt how to make groovy cards.
- Decided I want to do very naughty things to Aaron Pederson.
- Was ecstatic that Good News Week returned.
- Found a love of licorice allsorts.
- Rediscovered my love of Degrassi and Pugwall.
- Bought a PS3.
- Started a Diploma in Library Studies.
- Cross stiched a lot.
- Made a quillow.
- Saw the musical Miss Saigon.
- WOLVERINES!
- Re-connected with my Brother.
- Went ruining (that's visiting old buildings, not causing destruction.)
- Just about gave up chips and chocolate.
- Watched a lot of old muder/thriller movies.
- Watched a lot of  Monty Python.
- Bought hiking boots and actually used them.
- Decided I want to bake Josh Lawson cookies.
- Read Roald Dahl's 'Boy' and 'Going Solo' and remembered why he's so cool.

Ok, my list looks short but its full of big things. I learnt to DRIVE ok....DRIVE!

*I have yet to master parking and tend to run into things.
