It sure was Monday-ey

Today was better.

I drove the Jeep. I didn't fall batshit crazy in love with it but it's nice, comfy, quiet, the price is right, and it doesn't leak. Downside - no sunroof or radio buttons on the steering wheel. But the family can actually go long distances in this thing without renting a car as we have been, so that's a plus. I have to give the credit union my 1065's for the business, though. I may have to ask Bill to go on the loan too but that rankles me. >:-[

I should still be able to do things on my own, even though I'm married, you know? It's my money.

I feel the same about my Spanish teacher. My class is a guinea pig class for auditioning potential professors, though. The first guest speaker had to teach a complicated lesson, but today's speaker got a softball lesson. Doesn't seem fair.

I work in such a crazy place. Weird stuff is always afoot. Today I got yelled at and hugged within the space of about 90 seconds - by a client, not a co-worker. It should be noted that I have never been yelled at by a coworker at this place of employment! Come to think of it, they're really not huggers, either.

After my last journal entry, I came home and promptly had a full blown meltdown. The family was pretty nice about it. Bill made a nice dinner, chicken and mushrooms with peas. Tonight Alex is cooking beef stroganoff (his favorite). That's what I needed. I just can't keep up with all the stuff I used to do. I figured up my hours while I sipped a glass of wine in the bathtub: 22-25 hours at work, 8 hours at my business, 12 at school, plus 15 hours of study. That's kind of a lot. And it doesn't factor in Tristan's doctor appointments, dentist, pharmacy runs, grocery runs....so yeah. Everybody has to step up, that's all. Tris will cook dinner on Wednesday.

No idea what it will be, but I'm hoping for breakfast for dinner!
