Ouch, person who a) wasn't brave enough to log into their journal to post that or b) was Annie. Point taken, though, so your reward is that I am posting.
My plane did make it to Heathrow and I've been in Exeter for almost four weeks now. A list of a few things I've done since that time: gotten a job in a restaurant, been very happy with my classes, visited Stratford and seen A Midsummer Night's Dream and Comedy of Errors, received two different debit cards issued to "Kathryn Can Arendonk," legally consumed alcohol (some of which Kenyon bought), begun to memorize the advertisements played before movies (95% of all Britain's blackcurrents make it), seen Pride and Prejudice and Wallace and Gromit, cooked curry, hoovered, watched BBC, managed to make it from campus into town and back without getting lost, gotten stuck without an umbrella, and I've caved in and bought the British editions of the His Dark Materials trilogy (they were on a three for two sale at Waterstones, they weren't that expensive, I'm in a Milton class right now and desperately wanted to read them, also it's cool to have a "Northern Lights" version).
The Kenyon group is staying overnight in London this weekend to see two new shows, and I'm really looking forward to that. The weekend after, my Dad's going to stop by on a Pfizer trip, and then the weekend after that, Annie and Sophie are coming! Whoo!
