in which the world returns to normal
David has returned to the world of cities and classes and being busy, and life here has gone back to the default. It was a good long visit, with lots of movie-watching, and going to classes and talking and The Seagull and a really good dinner in Columbus. There is of course the inevitable post-departure pensiveness, but it’s only three weeks until I go to Boston.
Other events of significance: completion of the OCS forms, writing my history term paper incredibly early, planning on lots of Measure for Measure this weekend.
I’m also looking forward to feeling the Spirit with the Harcourt parish a few weeks from now. I’ve never seen a step-aerobics approach to conducting before, and am anxious to see how it will pan out with choir and “orchestra” (the broadest sense of the word, I assure you).
