When Harry had been in college, he'd had pills for everything; headaches, stomach aches, heartburn, to help him sleep, to wake him up, and of course, pills that made everything bad seem to go away. He'd kicked his addiction a long time ago, he hadn't thought about pills for years, but opening his eyes on the freezing baseball field in the literal Middle of Nowhere made the idea of blissful unconsciousness tempting again
