awesomeness
wow these past few days have been like, the best ever. haha.
it all started with star wars wednesday afternoon. everyone came over to my house for food and to watch episodes I and II before we went to the midnight showing of episode III. we got there a little after 1030 and the theater was already packed...we ddint get great seats, but who really cares. lol. some people were dressed up and some people had lightsabers, including one guy who had thehuge awesome red 'real' lightsaber that we saw in best buy. we decided he was compensating. haha. so 12 rolled around, and it took them like 25 minutes to get the movie started, and i was sad, becasue other people saw it before me. haha sigh. but omg...the movie was SOOOO GOOOD!!! we were all pretty speechless afterwards. i mean, anakin IS darth vader! dude....so didnt see that coming! lol jk. i think the reason why it was so good is because even though everyone knew pretty much everything that was going to happen, even when and where it would happen maybe....but the movie made the how and the why so interesting and powerful that it was still surprising and exciting. the dialouge, although still pretty bad, improved from the last movie dramatically, and i think pretty much all the really bad dialouge was in the love scenes. and i can deal with that. and thank god! jar jar binks was only in like 2 scenes and his only line was somehting like "'scuse me" lol. ah. what a movie.
i came home (slowly becasue of all the traffic in the parking lot) after the movie and went to bed, becasue thursday i woke up and went to visit my darling girlfriend in princeton! haha. i got there at about 11 and it was so good to see her...i know it was only like a week and half since we left school, but its tough to go from seeing somoene for a significant amount of time every day to not seeing them at all for over a week. so that was nice. that afternoon she took me to some aesome serene place on the edge of a little river and we had lunch, and then we drove around princeton for a bit, got some ice cream/sorbet, and were home in time for a steak dinner and....THE OC FINALE!!! and man...if star wars was the best movie ive seen in awhile...this episode of the oc was certainly the best tv show ive seen in awhile. so moving, so dramatic, so exciting. what a show. and i was so excited to see jimmy back! oh i cant wait til next season. siiigh. so emily and i soaked in the awesomeness of the oc for a few min, but then we had to get going to see...star wars! lol. she didnt see it at midnight so we went opening night and of course it was awesome again for me and she really liked it too. then we came home and ended the day with some family guy. mm. "NOOO...silly rabbit, trix are for kids....damn longears tryin to take easter away from jesus" hahahaa. woke up the next morning and it was raining, so we hung around awhile then ran out to eat and do a few things, but then came back and watched goldfinger. mmm. bond movies. haha. there was some oc season 1 watched at some point too. hehe. then her parents took us to applebee's (it's got to be, applebees!) haha. and a bunch of balloons kept popping. grr. not too long after dinner it was time for me to head home : ( it was sad, but i came home to a fun poker game at the arasins witha bunch of people. but alas, i lost again. oh well. then straight to bed after a long day.
completing my awesome stretch of 4 days was the phantoms game saturday night. bryan briana and i went to game two of the eastern conference finals against the providence bruins, and it was a really good game...nittymaki is a god, and he got the shutout in the 3-0 win, so now the phantoms are up 2 games to none. mmm. i smell calder cup finals. lol. its fun to care about ahl hockey while the nhl is nonexistant.
we came home to the arasins and then jenn came over and we just hung out and played fake poker and watched tv until we went to minellas at like 1. so i got a milkshake, of course, and it was a fitting end to everything. mmm
so starting tuesday ill be back to work at the b&n cafe. YAY money! lol. melissa, i think i see you for like an hour. haha. but then i work friday and saturday. so everyone stop in some afternoon and visit!
i think thats all for now. oh i must add that the phillies pwned the orioles today and in the series 2-1...so if any of my orioles fans friends read this...HA. lol.
