Holy shit! This Amber Gutbrod chick is a horrible person!! I hafta tell someone about it that isn't in my class. I don't want to be spreading gossip or being "unprofessional". BUT FUCK!!
So, I had offered to the class, as a whole, to come and study together for the previous exam and a few had accepted and found it beneficial. Mostly because I made it to 4th semester at another nursing program and know what kind of questions the teachers are going to want you to answer on an exam. So I wanted to start up regular review sessions- e-mail below:

Hi there! I’d like to invite you to some more group activities…
BHC MCC Library in the study rooms:
Lecture #10 Review (1) Saturday 11/1 1100-1230
Lecture #10 Review (2) Tuesday 11/4 1400-1600
Lecture #11 Review (1) Saturday 11/8 0900-1100
I plan on having more review sessions and exam study groups in the future. If you are interested in coming to a future review/exam study group, let me know what days/times are best for you. I have some scheduling limitations due to weekly work schedule changes and MCC facility hours, but I really think this will help all of us out. Everybody who came to the previous two study sessions felt they did better on the test than they would have. I know it helped me a lot!
I’ve decided to do lecture reviews because many people learn better with steady absorption of information. This will help us all be better prepared for Exam 4. After all, it’s only a few weeks away : )
Sincerely,
Elizabeth
PS- If you don’t want to receive anymore Angel messages about the lecture reviews or exam study groups please message me back with “Take me off your list”. There are going to be about 4 more schedules put out to our BHC group of students and possibly some update messages if the meeting location gets changed. I don’t want to be annoying… it just comes naturally : D
______________________________________________________________________________________________*Fairly decent email? Apparently not! I included everyone in my primary email and gave them an out if they don't want to participate. Now, Amber is the one I talked about in the previous blog as being a nasty hurtful person to the poor instructors. The message got deleted by the course instructor, so I was never sure if Amber got to read it, well, now I know :D Her reply to this email was:

Me and my caustic self don't need study sessions so you can drop me from your email list. I'm sorry you seem a bit arrogant by being so presumptuous thinking I need suggestions how to study when you posted the last comment that Ms. Ellis deleted. I'm begged by students to tutor them, and I'm not a repeat student. Thanks.

and she accuses me of being arrogant?
SO I replied with:

A simple "Take me off the list" would have sufficed. There is no need for hurtful words.

I probably shouldn't have replied to her email. BUT this was the best I could do to not COMPLETELY flair up a marvelous flame war. AND if the messages are being monitored by our course instructors- I will be the innocent lamb.
REALLY I'd like nothing more than to plant my fist so deeeeply into her face that her teeth become imbedded in her brain...BUT, then I wouldn't be able to get my RN, now would I?
Thanks for reading my rant. It was therapeutic for me :)
