More or less, the plot for a short animated movie:
In the not-incredibly-far-away-future, domestic cats are introduced to Antarctica. They go feral, reproduce like mad, then die a lot because it's still pretty damn cold (but not as cold as usual, Amanda wears a skirt for heaven's sake, though admittedly she has a lot of blubber). Amanda's job is to go around and collect all the dead cat bodies that are surfacing as the ice melts again, chipping them free with a big pointy stick, more or less. She totes around her fat ass cat Ansel every day in her red wagon-converted-sled device. One day Ansel comes across a female kitty frozen in the ice and is immediately smitten with her. Every day he comes back and stares at her while Amanda works. Every day when he comes back the ice has melted a bit further, and slowly they come closer and closer to each other, until the tips of her paws have escaped. Then, one day, Ansel comes to visit his love and an unknown fellow worker of Amanda's has chipped her out of the ice and dumped her somewhere in the ocean with the rest of the dead cats. The end.
