1. Happy birthday Kat!
2. How the hell is it October? All I'm wearing today is my ladybug dress and I still ended up all sweaty while walking to school.
3. I finished my container books (the bus ones with little clay people/bus seats). I have to hot glue a couple pieces back together because I took a sharp turn this morning and the boxes slid off the seat.
4. I'm getting a kitty in a week!! His name is Z. Or Zeke. But I prefer Ezekiel. Black and white, shorthair, quiet (that'll be new). Lo-key, from what I can tell. Smarty pants.
5. I am a pushover, but this is okay because I know I am a pushover.
6. Field trip to Chicago Thursday! And then I get to attack Sai!
7. New Rocket Dogs, I eventually ended up killing my other ones. (Mom insisted I throw the old ones out now that I have new ones, but, er... they still exist.)
8. We think Ned had a stroke. He walks with his head tilted to one side and occasionally runs into things now. However, he really enjoys his new place in on the bay-window where he can sun himself.
9. Did you know bugs can sense decaying flesh from over two miles away?
10. In lieu of another decaying flesh fact (I'm reading a book on mummies and was giggling on the bus over DNA, it was terribly dorky)-- yesterday, while on lunch with two of my friends at work, Peter and Jason, we were watching the Jets/Giants game. The announcer said something to the effect of, "That guy has had more sacks then the entire Jets put together." Um, yeah. We all pretty much died. And then, after that, it seemed all they were talking about was sacks. I will never be able to watch football with a straight face again.
Oh, and later that day I was relaying the sacks story to my friend Katie and we were cracking up within view of Jason, who was cashiering. He gave us a questioning look since we'd been laughing and glancing in his direction at the same time. So I thought calling out, "I told her about the sacks!" to him would be a good explanation. Hehe.
