I had a nice weekend and the weather was gorgeous! Saturday, I met up with jlrpuck and we wandered down to Culpepper for a lovely afternoon tea. The historic part of Culpepper, VA is darling and there were many unique shops to peruse along with a chocolatier that sold confections that should be listed as highly addictive by the FDA. On our way back we stopped by a glass blowing workshop and store that according to JLR is never open. Well it was open, we got a tour AND we signed up for glass blowing classes! I've always been facinated with glass and am really looking forward to this.
Sunday, chanel19 , bbennett and I took in the Pompeii exhibit at the National Gallery and it was facinating. I highly recommend it if you're in the area and I beleive that it's on it's way out in a few weeks so you'll have to hurry. It was so lovely to walk on the mall with great friends and terrific weather :) I really am fortunate to live so close to DC.
Now if only my 6:15 interview would show up. (SIGH)
