I saw Carrie Fisher's Wishful Drinking yesterday, and she was completely hysterical. oeilade , divanoir and dianora2 came down and D., chanel19 and I all piled into 2 cars and managed to only be about 5 minutes late. Driving in DC is insane. Navigating a grid inside of a wagon wheel is always an adventure. I actually wasn't surprised at how candid the show was because I've read most of her books. The girl certainly knows how to laugh at herself and I think that's a big part of her charm. It was nice to see suehypno at the theater as well and holy cow, she's TINY! Good for you, Sue!
The cats were glad to have me home, even though they didn't speak to me for at least a half hour in punishment for leaving them all alone for almost a whole day and a half. I'm a terrible cat mom, I know. (G)
I forgot to mention that last weekend, Chanel and I met up with prettyannamoon at the Virginia Celtic Festival. It was wonderful to see Anna! I'm so sorry that we didn't stay longer. It was just our luck to go to an outdoor festival on the hottest, muggiest day of the year :b We'll have to get together again and I promise to not skip out on you :) I hope that you got some great pictures. Speaking of things Celtic, I'm very excited to be going to the MD Renissance Faire in a few weeks because Albannach will be there. I can not tell you how much I love this group. Beautiful half naked men in kilts with big drums - what more could you ask? :D
