Amazing
I just watched Michelle Obama speak at the DNC and have to say that the woman is downright amazing! What a wonderful and well thought out address! I wasn't aware of her background and am impressed that two people with blue collar roots have come so far. Even discounting race, that's still an amazing accomplishment of this day and age of money powering politics. Sure, it still takes money, but the grass roots effort that got the ball rolling is still the foundation of the campaign. I was a Clinton supporter but now, after doing research and the VP pick and learning more about the woman behind the man, I'm feeling really good about his candidacy.
Seeing Ted Kennedy tonight was also very satisfying and yes, it made me cry to see him so determined to be there in person to show solidarity.
