The reason she didn’t answer his question?
She wasn’t sure if she truly was over him… she wanted to be… she shouldn’t still have feelings for him. She wanted to feel completely for Max, but she couldn’t help herself - she still had feelings for Cappie.
Why couldn’t she get rid of the feelings?
She figured it was the fact that he was her first love or the fact that he was Cappie. But its been almost three years now since they went out and broken up - she should be over him… She should be she knew, but she wasn’t.
And that amazing kiss over spring break?
Soooo did not help her heart from not wanting him. She really likes Max, she likes him A LOT. He was different then Cappie and Evan. He was shy, dorky and sweet. Which she finds truly endearing about him, but she can’t help but feel like she’s just avoiding the inevitable with Max. That they were not meant to be together and they will eventually break-up.
