“You have beautiful eyes,” Lee admitted causing Allison to blush and to roll her eyes at her partner.
“You too, Lee, you too. You’re drunk, aren’t you?” Allison asked, lifting her eyebrow in amusement. Lee let out a loud laugh.
“Possibly, but I still think you have beautiful eyes.”
Allison laughed at him, “Well, thank you kind officer.”
“You’re my best friend, Allison.” Lee stated, leaning in to whisper in her ear. Shivers she couldn’t explain went down her spine as she felt his breath on her neck.
“You’re mine as well, Lee,” Allison admitted with a smile towards her friend, unsure of where this conversation was going.
“If I ever did or said something that made you think I didn’t like you or your gifts, I’m really sorry…” Lee admitted, his face contorted in guilt as he tried to study her.
“I understand, Lee, I really do… it’s a hard thing to understand, I really want to thank you for sticking with me anyway - through the crazy insane things my gifts make me do or act. Although maybe I should tell you this when you’re not drunk… and I’m not drunk.”
“You’re beautiful,” Lee whispered again, leaning in closer to her. Allison’s eyes widened in shock for a moment before she grinned up at him. She could feel the butterflies start to flutter in her stomach at the way Lee was staring at her at that moment.
Before she could reply back to him or take another sip of her beer, Lee had leaned all the way towards her and captured her lips with his. Allison knew she should have pushed him away - stopped him - however she didn’t… instead she deepened the kiss and pulled him closer to her. She realized that she’d probably feel guilty later, but she just didn’t want it to stop… Joe never kissed her like this and she absolutely loved it, which she will never admit to anyone.
