Chloe Sullivan stared softly out the window of her apartment in New York City. Thanks to Oliver’s influences, she had been able to set up shop another Isis Foundation here soon after she heard about so many sightings of what people called mutants (people with extraordinaire abilities). At first she barely got any visitors, but eventually she started to get them and as she had in Metropolis she began group meetings and counseling. It had been after one of these meetings when she had gotten attacked by a few members of the ‘Friends of Humanity’ organization. Thankfully, however, she was saved by Spider-Man.
With his help, the men that had tried attacking her got arrested by the cops and after bumping into one another a few times (and her using her reporter skills) she had managed to track down the identity behind Spider-Man… Peter Parker. She already had a crush on Peter because of the several events she had been invited to and he hired for by the Daily Planet to take photos. They started talking and she found he was quite smart for a photographer and had a knack for anything science. Of course eventually she realized just why when Spider-Man is around Peter Parker is no where to be found. After years of not knowing about Clark’s ability and years of knowing about his abilities without his knowledge, she got like a sixth sense about someone trying to hide their other self.
After months of flirting around it, he finally managed to ask her on a date. They became nearly inseparable and with her influence managed to get him to join Oliver and the team so became his Watchtower as well, alerting him of any crime activity he could stop. Nearly six months later after a year of dating and becoming serious with each other, Peter moved in with her since thanks to Oliver she had a nice sized loft fit for at least two people. Soon after that she didn’t worry so much about if he still loved Mary Jane Watson-Jameson or not, because she knew that in truth she will always love Clark Kent and that he would always love Mary Jane and that despite that they did love each other.
Chloe’s grim face instantly lightened as she caught sight of Spider-Man landing on her balcony. She quickly ran over to the door to it and opened it, allowing Pete to enter the loft. Once safely inside he took his mask off and grinned reassuringly at her.
She still worried about him despite the fact that if he ever needed help, he could call her on the comm link since it was possible (and have happened) that it could get destroyed in one of his battles and she would loose communication with him. He kissed her briefly before pulling away and entered their bedroom, taking a seat on the bed. Chloe followed him and leaned against the doorway and studied him.
“I take it another win for good side?” Chloe quirked as Peter changed out of his costume.
“Yeah, the robbers are getting taken got downtown,” Pete replied, letting out a laugh.
“So ready for bed, Pete?” Chloe whispered, moving closer to Peter who was only dressed in boxers.
“Completely,” Peter stated with a grin, pulling Chloe on his lap. “Happy Valentine’s day.”
“Happy Valentine’s day,” Chloe whispered against his lips before capturing his lips in a kiss, thankful that Peter was finally here with her.
