“So how do you feel?” Justin asked with a small smile, watching his sister lean against the railing of the garden.
The garden was located atop of their building in which one of their neighbors must have built it a long time ago, because when they had found it on one of their beginner dates, it had been completely abandoned and all the plants were overgrown - some dying.
“I feel completely the same, just a little more powerful,” Alex stated letting out a laugh. “I thought turning eighteen would be kind of different, you know?”
“And yet it’s exactly the same as when you were seventeen… I know. Well, you know with age comes knowledge,” Justin said with a grin, walking closer to her. Alex rolled her eyes at him, although she still grinned..
“Are we seriously go to talk about that on my birthday date?”
Justin chuckled before raising his hands in surrender and bowed down to Alex, “I’m absolutely sorry, my love, what had you in mind for this such grand night?”
Alex giggled at him, “You are so lame Justin!”
Justin winked at her, “You love me though.”
Alex shook her head letting out another laugh, “Yes, yes I do love you. Although sometimes I wonder.”
“Hey, I’m a great catch, I’ll have you know. Who’d else have you known that is as intelligent as I am? And as handsome?” Justin asked, pulling Alex to him. She chuckled, before jokingly pretended to think about it. “Hey!”
“Awe, don’t worry Justin… I haven’t meant anyone as intelligent, handsome, and charming as you. You’re an excellent catch,” Alex stated before pulling him down in for a kiss... their first kiss since she turned eighteen a few hours ago.
