here's to forced inactivity!

As I feel more and more compelled towards the 'Supernatural' fandom (blame it on the hotness of Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, and on being stuck at home with a broken ankle - which has allowed me to download & watch the whole 1st season in 3 days), I've decided to create this LJ, in case the compulsion to de-lurk gets strong enough ( Read more... )

Hi! Sure, you can use the Mucha icons. Would you credit me, though? It's the first time ever someone asks me about my icons (not that I've made any but these) and I'm sort of reeling. And really flattered. Thank you!

SPN has just started airing on public TV (before, it was on satellite, but I'm sadly analogic). If you mean synchro as in dubbing, I have only seen the Pilot dubbed to Spanish, to give it a try, but gave up because the dubbed voices sound weird once you've heard Jared & Jensen's (I don't think the voices of the dubbing actors match the characters, either). Yet, the technical aspects are probably excellent: Spain has a long standing dubbing tradition since the 1920s, and long-stablished dubbing studios with professional translators, timers and dubbing actors. I don't like dubbing as a matter of principle, but the results are always pretty seamless.

Dubbing, of course. I used the wrong word. ;) I'm from Germany and SPN will air this September on free tv (the pay tv broadcast started in June). Usually I like to give the German dubbing a try but SPN is almost unbearable. They casted voice actors who sound a lot younger than Jensen & Jared. Terrible, just terrible.

Same here, particularly Jared's voice actor, who sounds way too young. And Jensen's doesn't sound right, either. Also, I'm not too happy with some of the translation choices. There's just no way to keep me happy, it seems. XD

The exhibition is up until September, plenty of time to drop by! ;D
