I dunno about the book but the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is really really badass, so I'd imagine that the book is even better. I might actually check some of those out sometime, they sound pretty good.

yeah, i just finished the book, and both of them are great in their own ways. Gonna start rum diary tomorrow.
