[ A pumpkin patch had seemed like a harmless enough thing. No, more than that, it had seemed like a chance for Tieria and Setsuna to do something normal, and that more than anything was what made Lockon smile around here. Of course they'd have to be careful about anything curse-induced that might lurk in it; Lockon might be optimistic about his chances to do something fun with his teammates, but he's not an idiot. He took a gun when he went.
But so far, nothing's gone wrong, and that has Lockon relaxing a little. More than he should, in fact.
"Yo, Setsuna, Tieria!" he calls from atop a small hill. "It looks like there are bigger pumpkins over that way." He waits until they've approached to say what he's thinking, so he doesn't have to yell it: "If we're going to carve a Gundam into it, we need a big pumpkin. Right?" It's hard to tell if he's teasing or not. Hey, a Gundam pumpkin would be one way to get Setsuna really into the spirit.
Lockon points at a path leading down from the hill. "Let's go that way." It does seem to lead to a part of the patch with bigger pumpkins. But it passes through two twisted trees to get there, like a gate. It seems logical enough that one would still be on the same path after passing through those trees...
...but logic rarely triumphs in the City. The fact is, those trees are a gate, and they don't lead to bigger pumpkins. ]
