Emily's birthday came and went. October 24th, 1979, 12 days after mine ... I know she is resting in peace. I had waxing and a party and band practice, and .... was too busy to think much. But nevertheless, I did think about it

I don't think the hole is supposed to be filled. I still miss my grandmas. Their death is a part of who I am now.

I agree with Emily. I don't think the holes are meant to be filled. To think they can be implies that you can love two people in exactly the same way. No one interchangeable or replaceable, and all love is unique.

The experience and how you get through it are part of who you are, become part of the rich tapestry of your life.

And you have others who love you.
