I suggested to Patrick that he try his hand at a cartoon strip. I further suggested that he use our household as a basis for it. I think a cartoon strip from the point of view of three cats and a dog as they watch the odd and inexplicable behavior of their monkey servants would be pretty universal. It would be a character driven strip, because our pets have character. They have got it to spare.

Now all Patrick has to do is get the animals to pose for him so he can get them down as toons.
