We went to Coast Capital Crap last night, and they denied me an account because I'm American (God Forbid!!!!!!!!!!) Well F-you Coast Crapital, you just lost yourself a future millionaire! So we are back at TD Canada Trust. I checked our balance today and we had 10 dollars. Woohoo! We hadn't used it for like five months, so we thought it would be empty. So I made two deposits. The branch was closed. I had just missed it, and I had wanted to set up internet banking. So I went home and called the number. Then they asked me what the amounts of the last deposit was for security. And I told them. Then they asked me what other activity there was, and I said there wasn't. (Basically, we opened the account and never used it, because we never had enough money to put into it. All our money just flew right back out to bills and rent and food.) So I was denied again! "There's not enough information here for me to verify that you are the owner of the account." Well, I've about had enough with bank nonsense. I want my free banking back. Get a clue, Canada!
