So it was hard not to see Terry as Eric

harmonyangel: But also -- ok, so the premise is that this kid kind of stumbles into this ramshackle old imposing castle place
And gets scared by this eccentric old billionaire
But eventually is invited to be his protegee
And... well, that kind of makes Batman Willy Wonka

Batman is getting old
So he sends out 5 golden tickets to the Batcave
In, like... crime-stopping gift bags?
And then he teaches 4 of the kids moral lessons by severely traumatizing them
Before ultimately choosing a successor
