ladies and gentlemen...
the L room!
i am loving my new place. just a few more pieces of cheap and/or free furniture, and she's good to go!
there will surely be a housewarming party (or 2 or 3) once that happens :)
i do have other things to talk about besides my apartment.. really i do...
this has been pretty busy week for me. on monday,
polka_dot_com and i went to drunk spelling bee at bob and barbara's. if you haven't been to this, you have to go! i definitely need to study a dictionary or something before i try to do this again. but either way, it was fun as hell and the people that run it are frickin' hilarious.
last night, me, polka_dot_com, and some of our peeps went to see minus the bear at the TLA. which was awesome. i think i am the only person i know who did not listen to this band until recently, but i actually knew like half of the songs they played! go me!
tonight... my sister and i are in the finals of a karaoke contest (yea. see the title of this post. at least i'm aware of it.) still deciding what song to sing. and hoping the prize is cash cause i'm broke.
and tomrorrow i'm going to see ben folds (again!) with cindy and
walther1
...and i can't believe it, but this is going to be his first time seeing BF! that mofo loves him some ben and he has been missing out all these years. you are gonna love it dood. srsly.
and friday... if i'm still alive... i can be found at the m room. y'know.. couple floors below the L room... i'll be the one dancing like molly ringwold.
