was up 'till 1:00 just finishing my grayscale (nine steps, white to black...a much more tedious process than most would realize...let's just say that last night alone, trying to fix about three shades, i painted about 20 different swatches. and no, it's not becauase I'M anal...it's because my teacher is MORE anal than even i am. i know, weird, right?)...and let me also say that i am SO proud of myself. it is as close to perfect as a human can achieve. (at least, this human!) i don't care what grade she gives me, because i get an "a" in my book. (which we all know, is the only book that counts.)
