I'm still loving this. I don't often read WIPs and totally sympathise with progress being inextricably linked to the events of DH but I do hope you complete the story.

I totally understand WIP avoidance--except for a few favorites, I don't tend to keep up with them anymore or read them anymore--I've been disappointed too many times.

All I can tell you is that I really want to continue. BOS is my first novel and my first HPfic. I learn a lot whenever I return to it. So if I can continue, I will. I think it'll be find if Snape is dead, as long as he is on the side of good and he really did kill AD under orders and not to save his own hide. Time will tell.

Thanks so much for the comment.

This is all kinds of wonderful. I'm loving the character development and the voices you give to them... your dialogue rings very true. The scene with Snape and the Slytherins was particularly fine.

Snape killing his best friend Regulus was extremely well done -- it was heartrending without being maudlin.

I also sincerely hope that you are able to finish this, come what may.

I really do think Snape is a white hat, and if such is the case, I won't let a little thing like his death get in the way--just probably precede my merry way, using what Deathly Hallows I can, and discarding the rest--DH Spoilers but not compliant.

Thanks for reading and reviewing--you're brave to do that with a WIP! Especially one the author is on record as saying she's not sure she'll continue!

A new chapter! *squeals* You totally made my bad day so much better.

Is chapter ten online? I clicked on the link, but it just brought me to the front page of your journal.

Dying for more!

Heh--no, my bad. I try to come up with the title for the next chapter and even set it up the link template on LJ before I've written a word. That was true of "Unforgivable" as well and look what that got me--and poor Severus.

Glad I could tide you over DH woes. I'm so tempted now to peak at your story which I just saw you posted on LJ. I'm semi-spoiled already because spoilers were posted w/o a LJ cut on a LJ Comm saying who lives and who dies--but I'm not sure I want to know more details--even if it all might be a hoax.

All seems vewy quiet in HP land though...

Three days and counting...

I'm very glad you are going to continue your story. I really enjoy stories that take place with Hermione helping Severus at school. You make them both very believable if the events of DH had not happened.

I found spoilers by looking for them. I'm so weak when it comes to them for my favorite books and movies. I have the file with all the JPEGs of the book and I sat here and read most of it. Skimming for anything about Snape. I skipped mostly everything else. I will be good and read the rest when the book is in my hands Saturday morning!

Since I had no real outlet, writing fanfiction with my new theories and ideas certainly has helped.

I'm pretty certain what I have read so far is real and even if it's not, I hope I will have written a story someone finds interesting!

Well, not to leave spoilers for the unwary--but if the supposed Spoilers are true, the one thing that would have been a deal breaker for me with Snape and the fandom didn't happen. So I might go AU, DH Spoilers but not DH compliant. Mine the book for what I can still keep, then hint somewhere along the way that things happened differently because AD made the decision to put Hermione in Snape's path.

Is it bad that having written myself into liking the character, my second priority after Snape is to find out what happens to Zabini?

But then, I've just never been worried for Draco or Hermione--or even Harry. I've always just felt so strongly they'd survive.

::Harmony sitting on her hands to not go peak at spoilers or Cormak's new story::

Can I just tell you how much I'm loving this story? I know I told you before in FFN but I guess I just want to let you know again, if only to encourage you to keep on writing. ^_^

Awww--thanks, you're more than welcome, and yes, knowing others care about the story does help when you have something like this that is such a long haul.

As for whether I'll continue, I think that depends a lot on Deathly Hallows--not whether Snape survives, but if my vision of him can--if he does, as I think and hope turn out a "white hat..."
