Heh. I think I need a break--glutted. Part of it is I've had problems with the fandom for a long time. Add writer's block... But I always still loved reading it and sharing the love. Then I did some real life socializing recently that broke me of the regular habit and...

I find I just can't make myself even look out there. Just...no. More than lack of interest it's almost an aversion. The last time I felt this way in Trek my muse headed for the hills and didn't come back for two years--when I took up with HP so...

But not doing a bob and flounce--cuz 1) Hate when others do that and I don't want to become this bitter old ficcer like certain personages who say they're gone then always come back just to comment about the cruel fandom, and how they hate their old ship and you have to be crazy and delusional if you don't see Snape how JKR does... *huggles Snapey*. 2) It would be embarrassing to have said "so long" should I get the urge to read in it again when say they Exchange opens--or finally finish the WIP of Doom.

So we'll see... But no urge lately to even peek at fic, so if I haven't been visible in about a month that's why. Been going on a real book between covers binge instead. (Some of which is worse than fanfic but hey)

Erm, and the recipe looks very good, too. ;)

Actually, I've been around almost five since a bit after Half-Blood Prince. And since I'm only Neanderthal to your Homo Erectus (I believe Sil and Dung qualify as primordial soup) then you had to have been around quite a bit longer...
