Ron/Pansy Fest
The ronpansy_fest just started posting. We will be posting multi-chaptered fics at the rate one chapter per day and leaving a day in between each gift.
Frankly, I think the opening fic, Selling Spring truly is awesome, like no other fic I've read in Harry Potter, strongly evoking its setting and with a wonderful depiction of Ron and Pansy both, dealing with issues they'd both have to grapple with post-Deathly Hallows.
Hey, I know. It's Ron. It's also though Gryffindor/Slytherin, and has a lot of the themes and appeal that made me fall in love with Snape/Hermione and Draco/Hermione in the first place--that clash of opposing world views. And "Selling Spring" is moving and stylish. Well, worth the read even if this ship isn't your usual cuppa. The story concludes with part two tomorrow.
Oh, and yeah, if I've mostly seem to have slipped into a black hole lately. *points up* I expect it'll be no different through August as the fest continues to post.
