Ehmagawd!

Dude. This was the BEST DAY EVER EVER. -dies-

-squeal-

Mkay. Lemme take a minute to catch my breath. Meh. I'm still reaaally spazzy atm.

Phew...

So, today was a greaaat day. MONDAY. FEBRUARY 11th, 2008! Gawd. Let's begin. School was good, actually. Our chemistry teacher, who had been gone for 2 weeks and had been substituted by some wannabe chemistry teacher who's supposed to teach physics, is back. She'd gone on leave because she was preggers. Now she's 2 months preggers! How awkward it is to see our teacher with a bump on her belly. Ugh. :P

I'm really excelling in Math. YAYZ. -skips other subjects- ... Then we had Literature, our last subject. I love lit! I always love the poems we study. Teehee. We had 'The Red Wheelbarrow' today, by William Carlos Williams. The first time I read it, I was like, Huh?! I mean, the poem was only 8 lines short, but if you read it, it's only 4 lines.
so much depends
upon
the red wheel
barrow
glazed by rain
water
beside the white
chickens

Yeah. That's it. And me and my seatmates found the chicken part really funny. I dunno :|. Apparently, Williams was a doctor who was pretty attatched to his patient, a little girl who was dying of some influenza. Because he was feeling so helpless, and the girl was dying right before his eyes, he looked out of the window and wrote down this poem in at least 2 minutes. Weird, that. But our teacher says it's one of the most celebrated poems ever. Apparently, when you trace the outline of the lines of the poem, you form an imagist version of a wheelbarrow. Even weirder. Haha. But it really fascinates me. Which brings me to another course I wanna take up at college. There's political science, mass communication, or a literature major. Chyea.

AND FINALLY.

Dun dun dun... I get to go home. Yayaya! :D

So, me and Kate rode the LRT together again, and like every day, I got down at Libertad station. All the time, I was fingering my cellphone in my pocket, thinking about texting Alvin. Or simply thinking about him...

And I crossed the road, walking the usual path towards the jeepney terminal. When I happened to pass this random bakery and glance at it, there were these two guys who were standing there, backs turned from the sidewalk. The guy on the left looked a lot like Alvin from the back, but since I was a quick walker, and I just happened to glance at the bakery, I dismissed it as one of my daydreams and hallucinations again, but my thoughts were suddenly going crazy. I walked a bit more, then looked over my shoulder. For a split second, I could've sworn I saw Alvin! But I looked forward again, not knowing what I saw or what to think. But my heart was beating like mad! I seriously felt like I was palpitating. Gawd. But I still didn't assume it to actually be Alvin. He was supposed to be at school... Wasn't he?

I walked further, the jeepney terminal coming into view. I walked slower this time, glancing over my shoulder every now and then. I must've looked like a retard. Ugh. But I was just so intrigued! What if that really WAS Alvin? The thought made my head spin. I then took a deep breath, and crossed the road towards the jeep terminal. For one last time before riding the jeep, just to confirm my strange suspicion, I turned 'round to where I just came from...

...And.

...I almost fainted.

DUUDE. It was Alvin! OHMYGAWD IT WAS ALVIN. HEEEEE was walking towards me, a wide grin on his face that reached his eyes. Oh man, he looked gorgeous. The way he walked, the way he looked, the way he was laughing. SO BEAUTIFUL. :3
I nearly felt the wind knocked out of me. I walked towards him, held his face gently and said, 'Kala ko kung sino na 'tong nakikita ko eh!' (I knew it was you all along!). Then he chuckled and shook his head. Hi, he had said, in my favorite tone: his voice. Haha. Then he went behind me to get my bag. It was like an immediate response. 'Here, lemme carry your bag for you.' ... His fingers brushed my back. UUGH. Squee. He was with his friend, Patrick, that time, and he was grinning really wide. Alvin said, he was feeling kilig. I bet he was. xD. I waved at him, and he waved back, and he REALLY looked like he was going to burst out laughing any minute..

Alvin then asked me where I was going, and I told him I was going home already. He smiled at me, and asked if he could take me home himself. My eyes widened, but I said yes. Well, actually, I told myself yes, but I told him that it was entirely his decision. Yep. He was decided. He wanted to take me home. So me, Alvin, and Patrick climed into the jeepney, and he was kind enough to pay for all three of us. I TOLD him I'd pay for me. But nooo. He was being too stubborn. I TOLD him I could carry my own book bag. But nooo. He was being stubborn about that too. So I let him have his way.

That ride home was a weird one, for real. He kept noticing random things that, normally, I'd overlook. He saw this bald guy and commented on how weird it was that his skull was pretty prominent. He saw a couple of school girls and commented on their dirty shoes (wth?!), and a pair of shirtless guys (which, if I remember correctly, he had said: 'Ano ba yan! Parang mang-rarape.' (Huh! They look likea couple of rapists to me.) O__O. But even if it was beyond weird, the ride was still fun, still pretty meaningful. He was with ME for heaven's sake. I was sitting beside him, and we were closer than close, his hand was practically on my leg. And my head was almost on his shoulder. And I was all 'REMEMBER TO BREATHE.' (Lmao. That's so Issy of me :P).

He even walked me all the way to my house after we got down from the jeep. Mommy was the one who answered the door. Good thing we had a gate and he stayed by a wall where mommy couldn't see. Or else we would've been doomed. Haha. I thanked him after, of course. I had the very strong urge to kiss him, but I couldn't. Y'all know I couldn't. :P. He texted me afterwards, and told him that it was fun to finally get to escort me to my house. Just him and me.... and his classmate. LOL.

BUT I SWEAR.

After all that, the walk home will never, ever, be the same again.
