I'd Like to Take this Moment to say that--
FINALLY someone recognized the shirt I was wearing. Finally.
Yes I just went back today to get my learner's permit renewed (didn't take very long...the lady there was kinda forceful, but after getting calls that surmounted to "Oh I have to wait in Line?" <--people who don't know what a line is...maybe I can't quite blame her). And then we stopped by UAB to see if we could pay for my year yet, only to find out that PACT hadn't paid through yet (for however large a portion they're supposed to be paying) so we couldn't do anything about it yet.
...But. The thing is, today I decided to wear my Alabama Shakespeare Festival Tshirt that I'd gotten back in 11th grade thanks to the souvenir shop I visited while there (because of my play getting in the top 10). What made this even better? I'm used to (now) people not asking about it--but then we got stuck in an elevator with someone who knew what it was.
She asked me if I'd been a part of the production, which I hadn't been, but I got to say my play got in the top ten, and she thought that was awesome XD Unfortunately we had to get off the elevator after that--but I mean.
I've had this shirt for 2 years (or thereabout) and just now someone's noticing it.
