Seriously. Stayed up till 8:12AM (as of Skypes time) because I wasn't tired.
Granted it was very easy with a distraction.
Mainly being the original RP I'm working on with Sam. Though like with all our RPs so far, it's part of a bigger idea for it. We'll write it off for characterization purposes. Because hey--don't know how you'd do writing a character/want to figure stuff out about them? Why not attempt to RP them? XD It works surprisingly well.
Butbut I guess cuz I'm up now, and trying to keep myself up (woke up at 1:25PM thereabouts) --I can ...at least talk about it? XD Obviously since you might be seeing it...it might be a good idea?

THE COOK
-Has known Folker since they were children, also knows Thienn fairly well. Due to Cal hanging out in the kitchens all the time he gets to know him as well and is one of the first friends that Cal makes.

-They will vary depending on how the story goes, ranging from those who really enjoy his company, to those who dislike him with an irritating passion. Most are upper class, Dukes, or Nobles, but if the occasion calls for it, they can be normal citizens as well.

Humans
-They are currently the race that's both in the majority, and in control. Though many of the smaller villages trade frequently with other races, they are still highly superstitious of them. In some cases this is understandable (they have been attacked by them for food/resources), but in others not so much. They do not have any special abilities, other than the ability to adapt quickly to change. Their system of government matches a Monarchy, with a King and a Queen along with a special set of advisers whom help dictate/administer law to the outreaching villages.
Dwarves
-The closest race to the humans, often speculated to have originated from the same species millions of years ago. While they have a shorter stature than many humans do, due to their work in cramped mines and tunnels, it is quite possible for them to grow to a 'normal' human height due to their close relations with humans. It is quite normal for a Dwarf to work for humans as a blacksmith, farmer, or a guide due to their close relationship with the earth and their excellent sense of direction. When compared with a human, Dwarves have darker complexions and normally have dark hair and eyes. While they are normally seen as non-violent, if they are threatened they will attack. Normally they are stationary, working at particular mines until the mine runs dry, before moving on. They are also known for the many tales they tell, particularly ones that could be considered horror stories.
Nymphs (NOT the official name. Just a place-holder name for now)
-Possibly the most diverse race, they are found in nearly every body of water and can range from peaceful to violent depending on many factors. They are also the only known race that has the ability to form real, human-esque, figures. So far there are 3 different groups:
Blue Nymphs
-This is the group that Cal is a part of. They are strictly nomadic and rarely stay in one place for long. They are found in fresh-water rivers/lakes and are known to be the friendliest. They are also the ones with the most human contact, and as such trade with the humans frequently. Unfortunately, due to the special venom residing in their scales, which offers them elongated life as well as a natural cure for wounds, they are often hunted down and kidnapped. Due to their placid nature, they often don't fight back (or are assumed incapable of) and as such many do not survive their kidnapping.
Yellow Nymphs
-Considered the most deadly, as well as the largest. They inhabit coastal areas and hunt for their food using various weapons as well as the poison they secrete in their fangs. Due to living in such close proximity with humans, they often collide with them as they compete for food. Due to this they are known as "Sharks" for attacking and/or killing humans if they feel threatened. They will also resort in what is considered cannibalism (by humans) if the food shortage is drastic enough. Due to the Blue Nymphs being on such good terms with humans, they rarely accept them into their home. They too, share a similar fate in that their poison can be used as a universal antidote, thus they are often hunted down for their fangs.
Red Nymphs
-The most secluded of the Nymphs. They normally live in conditions too hot/cold for humans to withstand for long periods of time (such as at the base of volcanoes/in underground lakes with temperatures below freezing) . However, they are in constant contact with other races, such as Dwarves and the Senka and they often trade with them. Though they are not as violent as their Yellow counterparts, the are by no means harmless. If they feel threatened they can and will attack, often leading to deadly results. They are the only race known to kill Senka easily, and as such many hunt them down to try and learn their secrets. Very few have come back alive.
Senka
-When compared to other races, not much is known about the Senka. They are considered highly, if not the most, dangerous race. As the only Genderless race, Senka reproduce via combining the cells of two Senka to create an Egg. There are Good Eggs (which hatch into Senka), and Bad Eggs (which are created from incompatible cells, and are destroyed) . -Now extinct, Elves were once a predominant race in the world, coming in second behind humans. It is not quite certain what caused them to become extinct, but many speculate they had a similar fate as the Nymphs--they were hunted for their supposed immortality. They were once on good terms with the Nymphs and Humans, acting as a go between and a neutral voice of reason on many occasions. Many fairy tails are derived from Elven lore.
