The cops are telling everybody in Oslo not to give money to beggers, because most of them are from romania and eastern european countries and are quite organised.
They make A LOT of money doing it so they'll show up in groups, driving in the morning in one van then spread out and begin begging.
They do this until their visa runs out then move to another european country eventually returning home living like kings because they pretty much make more than I do working and my job pays 23$ an hour.
sucks.
