Why oh why did my dad buy a truck?

Now we have more cars than people at my house, and to a crazy environment person like me, that's just unnecessary. His official words were, "Well, I may have had a little too much to drink, and I may have bought a truck." His cousin was selling his 97 F-150 for $5000. I told my dad, why don't you just tell him you changed your mind? His response: "But what if we shook on it?"

I swear I will never understand guys.
