Sh-it. Nobody was supposeed to be home, yet! Soul pushes everything underneath the couch, not even noticing when one of the needles managed to slice his finger.

"Crona!" he grins, jumping to his feet. "Welcome home."

Soul hadn't even noticed, 'coz it hadn't even hurt. Well, not until he notices it, anyway! Shit, man, ow.

"Ack," he says. "It's okay, just a small mishap - "

He sticks the finger in his mouth to try to help with the cut.

"Chores," Soul says, but he doesn't think he'll get away with just that.

Soul just smiles a little goofily at the last bit - he doesn't care if it makes him look like an idiot at all. "Um," he says. "Sewing, I guess."

Soul laughs nervously, and scratches the back of his neck for a moment.

Soul isn't that surprised, actually.
