Wow. I love this city. I really do and I am having an amazing time here. I've met some really wonderful people in my classes and the talent level of both the students and the instructors here are spectacular. I haven't really had a chance to look around the city too much, since I've been in classes from 10-6 everyday, but that's why I'm SO looking forward to this weekend.
Last night was so much fun. A bunch of us got together and went out. More specifically, we went looking for places to drink that didn't card. Laura, Jeff and Laurel (my new friends) are all over 21, but sadly I still am not. We went to this place called BBQ which was incredibly ghetto, but fun. Plus, they didn't card and served 20 ounce margaritas, which were delicious. Since we didn't want to stay there all night, we went out in search of something a little cooler. We found a place off of 3rd and 13th that was really nice and had good music, so we stayed there for a while. I would like to repeat how dangerous Long Island Iced teas are. Bay Breezes are also very tasty. I highly recommend them. Don't worry, I'm not turning into an alkie. It was such a good time and I know it's cheesy but I just kept thinking to myself, 'oh my god, I'm having drinks in New York City!'. I'm such a nerd.
Tonight I'm going to see 'A Streetcar Named Desire' with one, Mr. Dennis Bush. I'm so freaking excited, I could pee myself. Like I said, I love this city.
Well friends, that's pretty much all for now but I still don't have internet access (this is Laura's computer) so if you care for a chat, you'll have to call me. Sorry. But if you feel so inclined, just remember that I'm three hours ahead of you. I love and miss you all!
