Belated Happy Birthday to Caren! Going over to her place later today.
Update on my job. First week of training is over. It will be five weeks of training, although two of those weeks will be taking calls, with lots of help around. So far, it's all pretty typical call center procedure. This is a MUCH better place to work though, especially in the sense that when I got fired, I had a feeling it would all work out for the best. This is a MUCH better place to work than Convergys was. In terms of finding this new job though, I was fired at the right time, cuz they're just now expanded into a new building, and busily hiring because they're consolidating many smaller call centers across the nation into three big ones. If I'd been fired a month earlier, or a month later, this job may not have been available to me.

Since it's break, a lot of people aren't in the room. Through the glass wall though, you can get a glimpse of the break room. The whole place is very impressive and upscale, compared to other call centers I've seen. So far, so good. It's all gravy.
