I had my first interview yesterday. It was just a preliminary phone interview, but it allowed me to use my super phone skills. She was a tough cookie though. Probably too used to people using every ingratiating technique in the book, since those interviews were her full-time job. She had built up the same armor every call-center person has to build up. She said I should know more by EOB Monday.
At first, I thought it went well, but later, little things that she said popped into my head, and I'm less certain now. Being fired will definitely work against me. In any case, it was the first time I've interviewed in eight years or so, so it was good practice. We'll see.
