Nuh UH! All I tried to do was go find out what happened to Dei. Dying wasn't supposed to be a part of the deal... and I'd have figured I'd be in more danger from Dad than from the Furies, anyway.
Besides...I was only Mostly Dead. There's a difference.
Fucking Hades, Phobos... chill out. No one's blaming you for anything.
the scowl she shot him lacked any of the gentleness she commonly held, gone with most of the rest of her patience. While her frustration wasn't directed at him, it didn't seem to lessen the affect any.
"I hope you're not going to make me go over there and tickle you to get that sour look off your face...mainly because this sofa is really comfortable. But if you keep scowling, I'll have no choice."
He waits till she gives in and twitches him a smile before relaxing into the cushions with a sigh.
"You know, all my life, I wanted my parents to be proud of me. Now I'd just like to be able to be proud of my parents."
You can tickle me, if you'd like to be skeeved upon...
she stood carefully, placing one foot in front of the other with grim determination, walking towards a chair, looking muck like drunk trying to wlk the yellow line. She was not going to fall over. Smiling as she made it to the chair, she curled her feet under her, joint sliding out of her pocket nd being plced between lips, lit on it's own.
'Bos... don't take distance to mean lack of pride. 'Dite is just... well, 'Dite, and Papa wouldn't be the way he is if there was nothing to be proud of. he just knows you'll be his downfall, one of these days.
she shrugged, taking a long hit of the joint, then leaned her head back As for pride in them? I don't know what they're doing, but I wish they'd stop. If they don't, I might have to go back to Kadmos.
Sux getting what you asked for sometimes, don't it Harm?

Right, right... big difference, immortal boy...
I'll be back soon, Harm, he said... Just watch Dei, he said...
grinning lightly, she went to stand, then sat right back down again.
