Spreading holiday cheer and weirdness (and disease)
I'm filling in at Bank Midwest as a helper monkey this week. While scanning checks all day and balancing deposits isn't my idea of fun, at least my mom will get off my ass about not working. (This is a temp job, so it's still not what she'd like me to have, but oh well. She'll live.)
I'm shamelessly stealing this idea from nosferatu_blue. What does everyone think about receiving a holiday card from me? I bought some delightfully weird Edward Gorey cards that are begging to be sent out. I'm also screening comments for this entry, so you don't need to worry about your address being seen by the entire internet. :D
I haven't had the flu in months, but I've more than likely caught it now. I've been feeling off since this afternoon, with shivering and a slight nausea. I'm hoping that it takes a turn for the worse overnight and I get to stay home from work tomorrow. But with my luck, I'll be back to normal by morning. For some reason I'm rarely sick for more than a day - damn my strong immune system!
