Why mandatory family visits are a double edged sword
While I love my family, I've come to realize that they're best in small doses. Thanksgiving break started out well, but by Saturday morning I was ready to commit seppuku. Four straight days of my family has left me stressed and cranky.
It doesn't help that I forgot to take my daily happy pill last night, which has greatly contributed to me being in a Mood. I also took a look at my syllabus for East Asian history this morning and realized that the rought draft of my 12 page research paper is due the 26th. Which is tomorrow. *headdesk*
Once the semester is over, I'm spending the entire winter break holed up in my room playing Xenosaga and Wild ARMs.
EDIT: One of the many joys of long drives - roughly 25 minutes of your hour long drive is on a two lane road. And without fail, every time you pull onto the highway it immediately ceases to be a highway and instead turns into the Parade of Slow Moving Vehicles. So slow that when it finally turns into a four lane near the St. James/Sherburn exit you're ready to weep with joy.
I've also decided that 60 Minutes is an evil, evil show for delaying The Amazing Race. And Andy Rooney is an annoying idiot.
