Random coincidence! (I come across these all the time and think they are CRAZY, but I don't write them down and so I forget them. So I am going to put this one here.)
Reading The Boredom of Haruhi Suzumiya last week, I was on the story about the baseball tournament and Haruhi decides to choose batting order with a random lottery. When Kyon complains, she says, "This is how they chose their leaders in ancient Greece!"
And it's true, because only one week earlier, I learned that very thing reading my book about the battle of Marathon. So. Random.
