I just finished watching Train_man (the movie version), and I think it is one of my new favorite movies ever.  The ending threw me a little, but it's not really a BAD ending, I just wasn't expecting it, and I kind of like the multiple interpretations it had.  And the whole thing just had me laughing the whole time.  I've been feeling down the last few days (for no discernible reason?) and this gave me the boost I needed.  I like how Train_man was an actual nerd, not a TV nerd, and just getting contacts and a haircut didn't make him any less of a social disaster.  Also, I liked it for the same reason I liked Napoleon Dynamite - the huge nerds were still huge nerds at the end, nobody "fixed" them, and they were completely happy that way.  Also, I like that the girl was a cute-but-doesn't-look-like-a-model girl.  She looked like a real person.  It was not the trite, hackneyed "nerdy guy gets gorgeous babe for no understandable reason" plotline.

Now, I was telling Alan about the random Wiki band meme, so I'm going to do it again!
